How to embed Tegrity recordings in Blackboard courses

How to embed Tegrity recordings in Blackboard courses

STEP 1. Access your Tegrity environment and click on the course where the desired recording is located.

STEP 2. Select the desired recording (circled below in red). Click on the “action” bar in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and select “Get Class Link” (squared below in red).

STEP 3. A box will appear providing you with both a URL link and an embed code.  If the Embed code does not appear, make sure “Do not allow anonymous users to view the recording” is not    checked (outlined in red below).

STEP 4.  Copy the embed code which should look something like this:

<script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://tegr.it/y/URL”></script>

STEP 5.  To add the embed inside Blackboard, access the section you would like it placed.  Begin by adding a content item which will open the text editor.  From the text editor click “<>” which will toggle text editor into “HTML Source Mode”.  You can now paste the embed code you copied from step 4.  Note that for the embed video to appear correctly, the text editor requires you to place some sort of text ahead of the embed code.  for Example:

See Video:  <script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://tegr.it/y/URL”></script>

STEP 6.  Submit/Save your content and your end result will looking something like this.
